Ella Langley is one of the brighter up-and-coming stars in country music. She’s also in the middle of a move, and took the opportunity to show off one of her more unique possessions.

A coffee can filled with a $100 in singles.

Turns out she uses it to remember where she came from. “Is it just normal money? Yes. But to me, no,” she explains in a social media video. Back in the day when she played bars and clubs, she would bundle the ones at the end of the night into packs of a hundred. This last bundle she keeps just so she can remember where she came from.

Has she ever been tempted to break into the stash when things got tough? “You don’t know the amount of times I have wanted to spend this $100, and needed to spend this $100, and did not do it ’cause I had faith in myself,” she admits. “And it paid off.”

According to it’s parent company Paramount Global, the show is simply “on pause” due to Paramount’s merger with Skydance Media, and the deal is still months from closing.

In a statement, Paramount said “Our world-class events remain a key component of Paramount’s music offering as we continue to raise the bar in delivering iconic, unforgettable performances and moments that drive pop culture. We have the best team in the business, and we are grateful for your hard work and dedication in bringing these events to life.”

Kenny will release his first book later in 2025. “Heart Life Music” will be more than just a memoir, according to the subject. “The book is “a love letter to people who shaped and inspired me, the fans who’ve been there from tiny bars, radio stations who believed when nobody else did, a team who just kept coming back, legends who gave me wisdom and opportunities and all the friends who’ve been there along the way.”

Chesney’s book will cover everything from his early years being raised by a single mother and getting a guitar his freshman year, to a 20-something musician playing for tips in Nashville to being a staple of sold-out summer stadium tours.

For the uninitiated, the Waste Management Open is generally considered to be the rowdiest golf tournament on the professional tour. It’s held in Arizona, fans are encouraged to make lots of noise. One of the holes actually features stadium-style seating.

The tournament kicks off with a pro-am, and Luke Bryan was invited to participate this year. While playing his round, he took some time to entertain the fans by showing off his “dance” moves (watch his Instagram video and you be the judge). He also teased the crowd by pretending he was going to hit his shot Happy Gilmore style (again, check his Instagram)

Of course, can’t fault the guy for wanting to blow off a little steam. He’s back in his judges chair for the new season of “American Idol” which premieres March 9.

Last season, Jelly Roll was a mentor on “American Idol”. This season, his “role” will be even bigger.

With the new season just weeks away, it’s been announced that he’ll become the shows first-ever “Artist in Residence”. Here’s how it’s going to work: Jelly will join the show during Hollywood Week, and he’ll work closely with the hopefuls, giving them firsthand advice on how to navigate the journey. His expanded role is the second big change; the other being the addition of Carrie Underwood as a new judge (replacing Katy Perry).

And that begs the question…has Idol gone country? Carrie, Jelly, and Luke Bryan alongside Ryan Seacrest and Lionel Richie (who’s dabbled in country music) will definitely give the show a country flavor.

The new season premieres March 9th, with a sneak peak coming after the Oscars on March 2nd.

Think about it…you’ve met that extra-special someone. You’ve booked the venue, ordered the cake and flowers, and hired an awesome caterer. All that’s left is finding a wedding singer.

How about wedding singers? As in, three of them?

In a recent interview, Rascal Flatts was asked if they’d ever consider performing at someone’s wedding. Jay DeMarcus said the band would do it…for a cool $3 million!

Turns out they were invited to a wedding in Wisconsin once, and since they were playing a show not far away they went and crashed the ceremony. They did end up singing “Bless The Broken Road”…for free. “I was so grateful that we did it, it was something I was dreading,” DeMarcus admits, but “I saw how much it meant to her family and she and her groom, that it was so cool, and I’m so glad we did it,” he says. It stuck with him for all these years.

History was made at the 67th Annual Grammy Awards.

Beyonce took the honors for Best Country Album. “Cowboy Carter” is a 27-track panoramic concept album that was released last March. Critics commended the album for what they described as its ambitious experimentation with music genres, with Beyoncé reimagining country music in her image. She becomes the first black artist to win the award in this category. It was one of three trophies she walked away with.

She looked genuinely surprised when her named was called by presenter Taylor Swift. In accepting the award, Beyonce said “I think sometimes ‘genre’ is a code word to keep us in our place as artists, and I just want to encourage people to do what they’re passionate about, and to stay persistent.”

Beyonce bested fellow artists Lainey Wilson, Chris Stapleton, Post Malone, and Kacey Musgraves.

Post Malone sometimes enjoys an early morning pizza. He’s also gaining a reputation as a big time tipper.

The staff at a pizza joint in Utah recently found out both those facts are true. Malone went to the shop early at 9:30am Saturday. Unfortunately the store doesn’t open until 10am, but the staff was already there prepping for the day. As politely as he could, Malone knocked on the door and then asked store manager Kolby Aguila if they were open. Aguila told the singer that they were not, but they would for sure open the doors for him!

Post ordered three medium cheese pizzas, one extra large cheese pizza, 24 boneless wings and a large cheesesteak. As he waited for his order, he took pictures with the staff and impressed everyone. As he picked up his order, he opened his wallet and gave the manager the contents…$1800!

Think it’s safe to say that shop earned a 5-star Yelp review for this particular transaction.

Add Jelly Roll to that list.

He’s performing a benefit concert this Saturday at the Rose Bowl, with free tickets available only to first responders and their families. Each of those individuals can request up to four tickets. In addition to Jelly, he’s promising a few surprise guests.

The Tennessee native will also take part in the massive FireAid benefit concert on Thursday at the Kia Forum in Inglewood. Billie Eilish, Olivia Rodrigo, Lady Gaga and more are also part of that show’s lineup.

2025 is shaping up to be extremely busy for Luke Bryan. The new season of American Idol begins March 9th, and as soon as that wraps up he’s hitting the road.

Luke kicks off his 30-stop “Country Song Came On” tour that will start on May 29th in Bethel Park, NY…and finish in Indiana in late-August. That includes a stop at Country Stampede as one of the headliners. As for opening acts, the roster includes George Birge, Randall King, and Avery Anna. Tickets go on sale this Friday.

And let’s not forget his California Farm Tour that he’s squeezing in between the finale of Idol and that show in New York.
