His first venture into country music was incredibly successful, so why not “run it back”?

Last August, his first release “F-1 Trillion” spawned multiple singles and earned Malone two Grammy nominations. Based on that performance, Malone announced that he has no immediate plans to leave the genre. “I’m pretty excited for the new record already…I usually hate listening to my music, but listening to the band play, I get so excited” he said in a recent interview.

How close is he to having the new project ready? Malone stated he has 35 songs! That’s a pretty good start. No release date has been announced, but Post says it’ll be out “very, very soon”.

It’s confirmed! Luke Bryan is headed back our on his annual Farm Tour, but this year he has added a twist.

For the first time in it’s 16 years of existence, the Farm Tour is going west.

Specifically…California! Luke wanted to make sure that California farmers were included in the benefits of the tour. “With the farm tour being such a unique type of show in rural towns we have to be really intentional on where we go in order to have the best experience for the fans all while lifting up the farming community and what they do for our country,” says Luke.

The three show run starts May 15th. Go west, young man. Go west!

You may know that Blake Shelton (now that he has extra time on his hands from not being a team captain on “The Voice”) has been spending time in the studio. What you may not know is that recording a new song has evolved into recording a new album.

Apparently, when Blake recorded “Pour Me A Drink” with Post Malone it lit that fire in his belly. He cut “Texas” and has basically decided to keep recording music until he’s told to stop.

“I’ll tell ya this. I have some things cut, but I’m gonna keep recording until they tell me time’s up.”

Blake says his label is waiting to see how “Texas” does. If it takes off like a rocket then a new album would get a quick green light. Obviously there’s no release information out now, but Blake is sure that we’ll know something next month.

Matt BerinatoThough Kane Brown‘s daughter is still an infant, she’s already a fan of her dad’s music. 

Kane reveals that he and his wife, Katelyn, would often play music for 17-month-old daughter Kingsley to help her stop crying, and as she grows older, she’s starting to recognize her father’s songs. 

“The other day, we were sitting out by the pool and ‘Be Like That’ came on the radio and she was doing her thing. And then all of a sudden, she turned her head and started walking towards the speaker, so it was just cool to realize she recognized the song,” Kane tells People of Kingsley’s reaction to his hit song featuring Khalid and Swae Lee. “It just made my day.”

In spite of his hectic schedule making music and recently launching his own record label, 1021 Entertainment, Kane credits his daughter for keeping him grounded and teaching him the power of unconditional love.  

“Kingsley has completely changed our lives for the better. I know when I get home and I’m exhausted, just holding her makes my day completely better,” he shares, describing her as “laid back” and “super-easy to cheer up.” 

“I have learned to be patient, and I’ve also learned that there’s true love,” adds Kane.

Kane and Katelyn welcomed Kingsley in October 2019. She makes an appearance in his video for “Worldwide Beautiful,” which is nominated for Video of the Year at the 2021 ACM Awards.

ABCLuke Combs is already looking ahead to his third album.

The singer previewed an unreleased song called “See Me Now” on social media this week, posting a clip of himself performing it with just his acoustic guitar as accompaniment. “Y’all wanted an album 3 preview, so here’s a little sneak peek,” he wrote.

Luke hasn’t shared any additional details about the content of his next album, or when fans can expect it to arrive. When it does drop, the project will follow his landmark 2019 release, What You See is What You Get.

Setting a number of chart records and breaking several milestones, Luke’s second album was a massive accomplishment for the singer, earning a spot as one of the top ten albums of 2020 in any genre. Between the album’s original release and its October 2020 deluxe edition, What You See Ain’t Always What You Get, it produced five number-one hit singles at country radio.

Luke’s currently angling to bring that number up to six: Just weeks ago, he revealed that “Forever After All” will be his next single off the project. As of this Friday, the song is already a Top 30 hit on the Billboard Country Airplay chart.

On April 30, TR will host a livestream event called Thomas Rhett One Night Only from Nashville, inviting fans from around the world to hear him play the new songs live with a full band behind him.

“It’s been a year and a half since I last played a live show,” Thomas explains. “It’s been good to keep sharing music in all the ways we’ve made work (mostly in front of my plaid curtains), but we really wanted to take it up a few notches until we can safely get back out there on the road. It’ll be where we play some new stuff for the first time and have a chance to share what the songs mean to me!”

You can now pick up tickets to the show, and also purchase VIP packages for a post-show Q&A with Thomas.

The lead single from Country Again:Side A is “What’s Your Country Song?,” which just went number one at country radio earlier this week. That song marks Thomas’ 11th consecutive chart-topping hit, and extends his reign as the country singer with the longest-running streak of number-one songs.

Dyer Road near the Little Grill restaurant will be closed starting March 29 for a two week construction project. (Brandon Peoples/KMAN)

Pottawatomie County is advising residents of a two week road closure along Dyer Road that begins Monday.

Two crossroad pipes are being installed which requires a closure between the north entrance to The Little Grill and the entrance to the Spillway cycle area. Officials say the park entrance from Dyer Road to Beach Road will also be closed. A marked detour for traffic in the area will be provided and it will need to be used for those trying to access the restaurant because there will be no access from Hwy 13.

The project is expected to be completed by April 9, weather permitting.

It’s the latest in a string of road construction projects surrounding Manhattan.
