Sure, lots of celebrity marriages don’t end well, but “The Boot” has compiled a list of country couples who tied the knot…and have kept it tied.
At the top of the list: Faith Hill and Tim McGraw. The two first met at a radio event in Nashville, but it wasn’t until 1996 when Faith, who was an opening act on Tim’s tour, really took notice of her Louisiana headliner. She was engaged to a music exec at the time, but as she says, she wasn’t about to let Tim “slip through her fingers”. They got married in October of that same year and celebrated their 28th anniversary earlier this month. Here’s wishing them many, many more.
Clint Black and Lisa Hartman met at a New Years’ Eve concert and began a top-secret courtship. They tied the knot in Katy, Texas in 1991 and have been making beautiful music together ever since.
