Craig Morgan posted a few words in response to actor Seth Rogen’s comments about the movie “American Sniper”.
Rogen (from “The Interview”, “Knocked Up”) wrote, “American Sniper kind of reminds me of the movie that’s showing in the third act of [Inglourious] Basterds.” The “movie” within the movie that he is referring to is Nation’s Pride—a fake Nazi propaganda film that was actually directed by Eli Roth.
In a Facebook post, Craig addressed the comments, saying, among other things, “I am sick and tired of people like you running your mouth when you have no idea what it takes for this country to maintain our freedoms. If you and anyone like you don’t like it, leave.”
American Sniper tells the story of Navy Seal Chris Kyle, the deadliest sniper in U.S. military history. Chris and a friend were shot by a Marine veteran whom they had taken to a gun range in an effort to help him with PTSD. The movie stars Bradley Cooper and Sienna Miller, and was directed by Clint Eastwood.
