Eating crickets is the new trend at some restaurants in New York City. 

At one restaurant the bugs were served up in every style… sprinkled on toffee, spread into pate, and skewered on toothpicks to dip in cocktail sauce.

According to one food writer, not only do crickets make for deliciously crunchy treats, but they are also a nutritional source of protein and may well replace meat in our diets in the future.
