Happy birthday to RC McGraw’s!

Located in the Blue Hills Shopping Center, they have been a Manhattan tradition for 15 years now!

How did RC Mcgraw’s get their name?

Well, according to urban legend, the original owner Doug wanted to name his new establishment after his friends. The R stands for the late Roger Reinbold, and the C stands for Chuck Dowling, a longtime friend. Well, he knew he wanted to have RC in the name, but it needed something else. Well, one late night when Doug couldn’t sleep, he turned the tv on to country music videos, and a Tim McGraw video was on. That was it! That’s how the name RC McGraw’s came about!

These days, Nick Powers carries the torch, and he does well! This Friday, the 27th, go see Ned Ledoux at Manhattan’s Premiere concert venue!
