Hard to believe it’s been eight years ago

An EF5 tornado nearly 1 1/2 miles wide travels through the city of Greensburg, Kansas leveling 95% of the city and killing eleven people

A total of 961 homes and businesses were destroyed, with 216 receiving major damage, and 307 receiving minor damage. 

The winds in the tornado were estimated to reach 205 mph.
