They said when the place opened that there would surprise bartenders from time to time, and they weren’t kidding. So far Bryan Cranston, Shaquille O’Neal, and other famous faces have been seen slinging drinks at “Friends In Low Places” in downtown Nashville. But for the bar’s 1st anniversary, the owners themselves showed up!
Garth Brooks and Trisha Yearwood spent time working last week, and as you might have guessed…their shift was very well received. Fans were treated to being served by the duo, who in returned greeted the patrons, slapped high-fives, served up beer and poured the cocktails.
In a joint social media post, the couple mentioned their plans. “Here’s to one of 100,” Brooks said. “I’m so excited,” Yearwood added. “We’re going to go down and bartend,” Brooks said.
And they did.
At one point “Friends In Low Places” came over the speakers. “I know that song”, said Yearwood. And then they led the entire bar in a rowdy sing-a-long.
Think they made any really good tips??
