The 58th Academy of Country Music Awards nominees were announced Thursday morning, with Hardy picking up seven total.

Most of them are songwriting credits, including Morgan Wallen’s hit “Sand In My Boots.”

As an aside, Thomas Rhett apparently was a co-writer on Cole Swindell’s “She Had me At Heads Carolina” and that makes complete sense. I can totally hear that as a Thomas Rhett song, now.

Hardy also picked up Visual Media and Music Event nominations with Lainey Wilson for “Wait In The Truck.” Wilson ended up with six total nominations, including Female Performer of the Year and Album of the Year.

The 58th ACM Awards will be held at The Star in Frisco, Texas, and, for the second straight year, will be streamed on Amazon Prime Video. Dolly Parton and Garth Brooks are slated to host.
