How adorable is this? Lady A’s Hilary Scott has written and recorded a new holiday song…and she’s performing it as a duet with her 11-year old daughter Eisele!
The song is called “Hard To Wait For Christmas”. As Hilary tells it, the song was written by the family after some “family drama” last year. Hilary and husband Chris Tyrrell were trying to explain to their daughters why they couldn’t open all the windows on the advent calendar. That conversation led into a discussion about other reasons why it’s hard to wait for Christmas Day.
The song is available for download. Hilary and Eisele will also perform the song Thursday night at the Grand Ol Opry.
