After a one-year hiatus due to the Coronavirus pandemic, the Kansas State Rodeo will return to Weber Arena later this week to celebrate 75 years of rodeo at K-State.

The rodeo will run Friday through Sunday, with two showings on Saturday. Start times are at 7:30 p.m. Friday and Saturday nights, plus 1 p.m. on both Saturday and Sunday.

Saturday’s matinee will also be the annual Kid’s Day, where children 12 and under will get free admission with the donation of a canned good. Sunday will be Military Appreciation Day.

Tickets are available and can be purchased at Yeehaw Country Outfitters, Outpost Western Store, Call Hall Dairy Bar, ieDiscoveries, Vanderbilt’s in Wamego, R-Bar-B in Topeka, and Orscheln’s in Manhattan and Junction City.

Presale tickets can be purchased for $10 for adults and $8 for students and military personnel. At the door, the cost goes up to $15 and $10, respectively. Children 4 and under are free.

B104.7 will be out at Saturday’s matinee from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. providing entertainment for those waiting to get in. We’ll also be giving away tickets to two sets of tickets for parents to get in for free with their kids at the door!
