Kacey Musgraves opened up the 47th season of Saturday Night Live this past weekend with a tribute to a cinema classic.
Namely, the “Jenny singing naked” scene from Forrest Gump.
Musgraves was the musical guest on SNL and first performed “justified” off her latest album star-crossed. The lights were barely lit and it appeared that Musgraves was clad only in a guitar and cowboy boots, much like Jenny in Gump. You can see the full performance below.
She also performed “camera roll” off the album, though was more dressed the second time.
