Entertainment Weekly has compiled a list of the best Christmas movies ever made, and the top five are really not much of a surprise.

Coming in at number one on the list? 1946’s “It’s A Wonderful Life”, starring James Stewart as a man who wonders what the world would be like if he wasn’t around…and then gets to find out thanks to his guardian angel.

In second place, we find out what happens when Ralphie gets that coveted Red Rider BB gun. It’s 1983’s “A Christmas Story”. Also notable about this movie? That grand prize that turns out to be a little too fra-gee-lee!

And the third best Christmas classic? We’re going into the world of Charles M Schultz and the Peanuts gang for “A Charlie Brown Christmas” from 1963. Charlie, Lucy, Snoopy and the gang discover the true meaning of the holiday thanks to a less than spectacular tree.

Rounding out the top five: 2003’s “Elf” and the original “How the Grinch stole Christmas” from 1966.
