I’m going to call shenanigans on this one.
Apparently, some people are claiming that they can remember saying their first words. Like from when they were one or two.
SHENANIGANS.
This is from a poll asking people how old they were in their oldest memory. Most people said they were 3, with a few claiming it was when they were two.
A few respondents say they remember their first steps or even their first words. My only guess is that these people were told the story so many times by parents that they feel like they have the memory of that.
There is research that shows that food you ate when you were a kid can “unlock” childhood memories, so maybe it’s not all bunk.
But it’s probably bunk.
