Did you know that Tim McGraw is the son of a former Major League baseball star?
Tim’s dad was legendary relief pitcher Tug McGraw, who played 19 seasons with the Mets and Phillies. So it makes a lot of sense for Tim to headline the first ever all-day concert at the Field of Dreams site in Dyersburg, Iowa.
The show is set for August 30th, and while no other artists have yet to be announced, we do know tickets will go on sale to the general public January 24. Presales begin Monday the 20th.
“I know my dad would have loved to see this one… Let’s make history together at the legendary Field of Dreams Movie Site”, said Tim. August 30th would have been his dad’s 81st birthday.
