A video that shows a student in Paterson, NJ “body slamming” his teacher after the teacher confiscates his cell phone is going viral. The video has people questioning cell phone use policies in classrooms.In the video, the student tries to wrestle his cell phone back from his teacher. It ends with the teacher on the floor.
The principal of the high school said students are allowed to use their cell phones for school related work but if they use them improperly teachers reserve the right to take phones away.The student has been placed on suspension and charged with assault.
