Do you remember who babysat you as a child? Ever wonder if that person went on to be famous?
In a recent interview, Thomas Rhett recalled one of his early babysitters…and it was none other than Reba McEntire! Thomas’ dad is country singer Rhett Akins, and he was the opening act on one of Reba’s tours. So while dad was on stage warming up the crowd, Thomas would be backstage playing with Reba’s son Brandon.
Was Reba a pushover? “This one time me and her son Shelby were playing with some toy or something that we were arguing over, and Reba came and stopped that really fast”, remembered Thomas. “Nothing would fly under Reba’s watch.”
For some reason, we’re not surprised that the former ranch hand and rodeo performer ran a tight ship.
