Ella Langley is one of the brighter up-and-coming stars in country music. She’s also in the middle of a move, and took the opportunity to show off one of her more unique possessions.
A coffee can filled with a $100 in singles.
Turns out she uses it to remember where she came from. “Is it just normal money? Yes. But to me, no,” she explains in a social media video. Back in the day when she played bars and clubs, she would bundle the ones at the end of the night into packs of a hundred. This last bundle she keeps just so she can remember where she came from.
Has she ever been tempted to break into the stash when things got tough? “You don’t know the amount of times I have wanted to spend this $100, and needed to spend this $100, and did not do it ’cause I had faith in myself,” she admits. “And it paid off.”
