A woman gave birth to a baby boy in New York, a child she carried for her twin sister.In 2009, the twin sister found out she had stage 3 breast cancer. The aggressive nature of the cancer meant she had to get chemo immediately. Problem was, she was pregnant. The chemo caused her baby to stop moving and she delivered really early, at 31 weeks.
Though her cancer is in remission, it was “brought on by hormones.” That means she isn’t able to get pregnant.When it came time to have another baby, her twin sister carried it for her. She was a surrogate and gave birth to the healthy baby boy. A pregnancy photo shoot the sisters did has gone viral.
