Mark TuckerAs the 51st ACM Awards draw closer, the Academy of Country Music is rolling out new details about the Sunday show.

Reigning Female Vocalist of the Year Miranda Lambert will perform a concert favorite, the ZZ Top classic “Tush,” along with the band’s Billy GibbonsKeith Urban will sit in for the number as well.

Roughly half a dozen artists will debut new music live from Las Vegas, and co-host Dierks Bentley is likely to be one of them. Show producers confirm New Orleans musician Trombone Shorty will be part of one of the night’s collaborations. He just happens to be featured on a new track called “Mardi Gras” from Dierks’ new album Black.

Even though Garth Brooks will be busy doing a show in Ottawa, producers confirm he’ll be part of the night, even though they wouldn’t reveal in what capacity. British actor Tom Hiddleston, who currently portrays Hank Williams in the new movie I Saw the Light, has been booked as well. The Academy also plans to remember the late Joey Feek, who’s nominated for Vocal Duo, along with her husband Rory.

Look for the awards for Vocal Event, Video, and Duo of the Year to be announced on the red carpet prior to the show. The three-hour event kicks off Sunday night at 8 p.m. ET on CBS.
