Alan and his father, Gene, restored the car, but Alan had to sell it to get the down payment for his first home. Years later, Alan’s wife, Denise, tracked down that exact T-Bird and gave it to Alan for Christmas. The car appeared in his 2008 video “Good Time.”

Alan’s 25 Years of Keepin’ It Country opens August 29, and the T-Bird will only be on display for the opening weekend.  Alan also is performing at the Country Music Hall of Fame October 8 and 22. Go to CountryMusicHallofFame.org for ticket information.
