Mark TuckerGarth Brooks’ first trek outside the U.S. on his World Tour is already a hit with Canadian fans. He and wife Trisha Yearwood will play five shows at FirstOntario Centre starting Thursday, March 24. Friday morning, he’d already outsold his last appearances in Ontario in just 45 minutes.
The four-time CMA Entertainer of the Year played for close to 48,000 Canadian fans in Hamilton and Toronto during two dates in September of 1996. At last check, he’d sold more than 54,000 seats for upcoming stint in less than an hour, with the total still rising.
Next Friday, tickets go on sale for his next Canadian date, in Ottawa on April 2, starting at 10 a.m. ET on the Canadian Tire Centre’s website and at 1-844-4-GarthB.
