Chris HolloCarrie Underwood hits the big screen on Friday, July 25, as this year’s Sunday Night Football theme debuts in 19,000 movie theaters across the country.  The debut comes as part of a  two-and-a-half-minute trailer taking viewers behind the scenes as the former American Idol champ records the latest version of “Waiting All Day for Sunday Night.”

This is Carrie’s second year to sing the theme, based on Joan Jett‘s hit, “I Hate Myself for Loving You.” Pink was the first artist to perform it in 2006, before Faith Hill took over in 2007.
