ABC/Fred LeeWhen Saturday Night Live returns on January 16, breakout country star Chris Stapleton will be its first musical guest of 2016. Actor Adam Driver, who currently stars in Star Wars: The Force Awakens and is also well-known for his appearances on HBO’s Girls, will host. It’s the first SNL appearance for both. You can catch the first new show of the year Saturday after next at 11:30 p.m. ET on NBC.
Right now, Chris is enjoying his first top-25 country single with “Nobody to Blame,” with four nominations to his credit at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards in February. Later this month, he checks into Luke Bryan’s Crash My Playa getaway vacation in Riviera Maya, Mexico.
