Image Courtesy Capitol NashvilleDarius Rucker joins pop star Colbie Caillat and fun. band member Jack Antonoff as ambassadors for the Grammy Foundation’s new program with yearbook and class-ring makers Jostens. Through the partnership, students can opt to have a music icon placed on their yearbooks and class rings with $1 going to the Grammy Foundation for each order up to $100,000. Proceeds will benefit the Grammy Foundation’s Grammy in the Schools music education programs.
Darius contributed a video to the project explaining how studying music in high school helped him become the man he is today.
He says, “[I] learned so much about life, singing and all that stuff. That was how I found out who I was, and it was really cool for me, ’cause I just developed into who I am right in the halls of Middleton High School, and I think a lot of my friends did the same thing.”
Jostens is also donating $50,000 on top of the money raised through the class rings and yearbooks program, so the total donation to the Grammy Foundation could reach $150,000. Go to Jostens.com/GrammyFoundation for more details.
