Dixie Chicks Return in 2016 With Most Extensive Tour in Ten Years

PMK•BNC“Just when you thought you were safe, America– we’re back!” Natalie Maines teased Monday, announcing the Dixie Chicks’ most extensive tour in a decade, in a video posted on the group’s Facebook page.

“There’s no telling what will happen this time,” Emily Robison added, making a sly reference to Natalie’s 2003 comments about President George W. Bush and the Iraq War that continue to make the trio somewhat controversial.

The North American leg of the DCX MMXVI World Tour kicks off June 1 in Cincinnati, Ohio, immediately following more than a dozen European dates. Tickets for the 40 plus shows go on sale to the general public on Friday, with Citi cardmembers getting access to pre-sale seats as early as Wednesday.
