Randee St. NicholasIt was an emotional night for Miranda Lambert when she performed in Corpus Christi, Texas, last Saturday.
As seen in a video posted on YouTube, Miranda was singing “Over You” when she reached out her hand to a seven-year-old girl named Brooke Hester, who was near the stage. Hester is battling stage four neuroblastoma cancer.
Overcome with emotion, a teary-eyed Miranda held hands with Hester and held out her microphone to the crowd as the music continued to play.
