Image Courtesy Sam Erickson/Warner Music NashvilleFrankie Ballard feels like he just got finished celebrating his last #1 hit, “Helluva Life,” and he’s already followed that one up with another chart-topper, “Sunshine and Whiskey.”

“It’s crazy, you know, the momentum that we’re [experiencing],” Frankie says. “It’s unbelievable. I’m on cloud nine. I’m so happy.”

“Sunshine and Whiskey” never fails to get the girls out of their seats at Frankie’s shows, too.

He adds, “It starts the dance party. ‘Cause I think sometimes people come in, and they’re not really sure if it’s OK to dance. Then you play that one, and the dance party starts, and it’s all downhill from there.”

Frankie looks forward to continuing his upward momentum with an opening spot on Florida Georgia Line‘s Anything Goes tour starting in January.
