Garth Brooks and Carrie Underwood are among the performers who’ll participate in Sinatra 100 — An All-Star Grammy Concert, which will be taped December 2 at Wynn Las Vegas. The two-hour show, which will air a few days later on CBS, will celebrate the legacy of the late, great singer Frank Sinatra, whose 100th birthday would have been December 12.
Alicia Keys, Adam Levine, John Legend, Usher and Tony Bennett are also on the bill. More performers will be announced in the coming weeks.
Sinatra, often called “The Chairman of the Board,” won nine Grammys in his career, and has also received a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award and a Grammy Legend Award. Thirteen of his recordings have been inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame.
The show is being created in partnership with the Sinatra family. All the stars will be performing the songs and arrangements made famous by Ol’ Blue Eyes. The production will also feature rare archival footage narrated by Sinatra himself.
