Sony Music NashvilleFans who tuned into the 2014 CMT Music Awards got a peek at Jake Owen‘s beach-bar tour set from his current Days of Gold tour during his performance of “Beachin’.” The show features start-of-the-art lighting and production, but Jake took a few toys on his new tour to enjoy offstage, too.
He says, “I have a old-school woody Jeep. My dad, when I was a kid, had a Jeep wood side, woody. So, I bought one this past year and had it restored, and it’s baby blue. So, we’ll take that around with us.”
Jake also has some tricked-out golf carts to run around in backstage thanks to his friend, NASCAR driver Kevin Harvick. So, what does it take to haul all of Jake’s band, crew, tour set and toys around the country?
“Believe it or not, we have four trucks out this year on the road with us and four buses.”
