Image Courtesy Arista NashvilleJerrod Niemann can’t wait to entertain the crowd at his Friday night show at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium, but he knows he’ll be sharing the spotlight with the building itself.

Jerrod says, “The Ryman is truly one of the only places in the world that, no matter who plays there, it’s still the Ryman. You know, it’s the star of the show.”

The former home of the Grand Ole Opry has hosted music legends such as Patsy Cline, Hank Williams and Elvis Presley. Musical memories are still being made on the Ryman stage as it hosts star-studded events like the ACM Honors and return visits from the Grand Ole Opry as well as high-profile concerts

“Just to go into the Ryman is always fun, and I’ve been onstage a couple times with friends,” Jerrod adds. “But to be able to headline it, it’s one of those —  not to be cliché —  surreal moments that hasn’t set in.”

Jerrod also hopes to coerce some of his famous friends to make special appearances at his Friday night show. We’ll keep you posted on who shows up.
