Mercury NashvilleKacey Musgraves will lead the way Tuesday, October 27 when the Opry Goes Pink to help fight breast cancer. She’ll flip the switch to turn the Grand Ole Opry’s iconic red barn backdrop a bright shade of fuchsia and kick off that night’s show starring Montgomery Gentry and Terri Clark. The cause is personal for both artists, as Troy Gentry’s wife Angie has battled breast cancer in the past year, and Terri lost her mom to the disease several years ago. 

In the past six years the Opry has hosted the event, Rascal FlattsMartina McBrideKellie Pickler and others have handled the ceremonial turning on of the oversize light switch. The Opry is also donating $5 from every ticket sold to help Women Rock for the Cure in their fight.
