CMAKeith Urban is riding high once again, thanks to his latest #1 hit, “John Cougar, John Deere, John 3:16,” but you shouldn’t expect the rest of his upcoming album to sound like that song. Like all of his albums before it, Keith says the new project will serve as a snapshot of what’s going on in his life right now.
He tells Rolling Stone Country,”I’ve always really done it sort of haphazard when I get in the studio. You got a bunch of songs and try this song and try that one. Sometimes songs just don’t work and sometimes other things become something in the studio much more than before. They just come to life.”
Keith’s new album is expected to hit stores in the coming months. He’s been working on it off-and-on for most of this year.
