Brad Lovell/Iconic EntertainmentNewcomer Kelsea Ballerini joins the legendary ranks of Kelly Clarkson, Martina McBride and Reba, signing on to perform at the kickoff of the Rock the Room Tour on October 21 in Nashville. The event honors music executive Shane Tarleton’s work with Musicians on Call, a nonprofit that brings live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in healthcare facilities around the country.
“I’ve had the chance to bring music to children at Vandy several times through Musicians on Call, and visibly seen how much music lifts their spirits. I’m so blown away by all they do,” Kelsea says of her personal experience with the organization.
After the tour’s kickoff in Music City, it moves on to New York, Los Angeles and Washington, D.C., with specifics about those events to be announced soon.
