She asked Allie Allen, who’s a patient at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, to accompany her, tweeting, “I know you’re busy kicking cancer’s butt, but I need you to come to Nashville on November 4.”
As you might expect, Allie accepted, replying, “Seriously crying my eyes out right now. I love you and I can’t wait!” Kelsea is up for both New Artist and Female Vocalist at this year’s show, which airs live on ABC at 8 p.m. ET.
