Allister Ann/Essential Broadcast MediaYou won’t find Kenny Chesney’s picture anywhere on the front of his forthcoming 15th studio album, The Big Revival. Instead, the country superstar opted for a photo of the multi-colored bus featured in his new “American Kids” video.
“I wanted a cover that was surprising, that suggests anything is possible,” Kenny says, giving a glimpse at the inspiration behind the bus’s crazy paint job he helped create himself.
“I figured, let’s throw open our imaginations! Let’s see what the bus, ‘American Kids’ and the rest of the songs can mean,” he says, turning philosophical. “Look at the bus — No! Get on the bus… and take the ride for whatever it is you dream. No matter where you are in your life, how tired or lost or demoralized, with a little faith and a little help, anything’s possible. Because it’s all within you. Or me.”
The Big Revival is due in stores and online September 23.
