Capitol NashvilleLady Antebellum‘s latest single may be titled “Bartender,” but you won’t find the group pouring themselves too many cold ones during their concerts.
Lady A’s Dave Haywood tells the Cincinnati Enquirer, “When we’re getting warmed up for the show we have a little bar area backstage. You got to make at least one drink to take the edge off.”
Dave and his band mate Charles Kelley usually indulge in some whiskey after the shows, though. When it comes to their favorite brands, Dave says, “Bulleit and Woodford are definitely the go-to’s.”
Lady A performs “Bartender” on the 2014 CMT Music Awards Wednesday night at 8 ET.
