ABC/Dick Clark ProductionsLuke Bryan may have been raised on a peanut farm in South Georgia, but he listened to just as much rap as country music growing up. So, it’s no surprise he’s scored hits with country-rap hybrids like “That’s My Kind of Night.”

Luke tells The New York Times, “Nobody grew up more country than me, and we listened to Eazy-E and 2 Live Crew.”

One Luke went to college at Georgia Southern University, he performed at frat parties and spring break events featuring just as much hip-hop as country.  “We watched what the D.J. played afterward,” Luke says. “Right when I got offstage, they started playing Juvenile and Outkast.”

Luke regularly opens his shows with “That’s My Kind of Night.” Go to LukeBryan.com to see where he’s playing next.
