Garth Brooks PressFive-time CMA Entertainer of the Year Garth Brooks has written his autobiography, and you’ll be able to experience it November 14, when The Anthology|Part 1: The First Five Years is released.

Not only is the 240-page hardcover the first in a five-part series, it also has an audio-visual component. In addition to more than 150 never-before-seen photos, the package comes with 52 songs, spread across five CDs. Nineteen of the tracks are new, unreleased or demo versions of Garth recordings.

You’ll not only be able to read the story of why “That Summer” was re-written and re-recorded, you’ll also be able to listen to the two different versions. Garth also tells the story of the first time he ever sang with wife-to-be Trisha Yearwood — you’ll be able to hear that track, too.

The superstar also recalls some near-misses: how “The Thunder Rolls” was ready to be released by another artist, and why he came close to not even recording his enduring hits “Friends in Low Places” or “The Dance.”

Garth will reveal more about The Anthology|Part 1: The First Five Years on Monday in a special edition of Inside Studio G. You can watch that at 7 p.m. ET on his Facebook page.
