Image Courtesy Big Machine RecordsRascal Flatts lead singer Gary LeVox shows off his impressive vocal chops on the band’s latest single, “Riot.” The guys recorded the song at bass player Jay DeMarcus‘s house, where it took quite a bit of effort for Jay and band mate Joe Don Rooney to add harmonies to Gary’s high notes.

Joe Don tells Rolling Stone, “Luckily, Jay has an oxygen tank in the house.”

Jay is excited for fans to hear the new single as it climbs the charts at country radio. “‘Riot’ is one of the songs that we felt strongest about from the first day on the record,” he says. “We’re thrilled that that one is going to have a chance to see the light of day. Once people hear it, they’ll figure out what an incredibly crafted song it is.”

“Riot” is included on Rascal Flatts’ latest album, Rewind, available now.
