RCPDReportPolice responded to a report of a theft at 101 East Bluemont Street, in Manhattan on May 26th, 2016 at approximately 7:21 PM. Wal-Mart was listed as the victim after miscellaneous clothing items were taken from the business. Jeremy Harper, 37, of Manhattan was arrested in conjunction with this incident. Harper remained confined at the time of this report with no bond.

Police and emergency crews responded to a vehicle versus bicycle collision in the 300 block of South 4th Street on May 26th, 2016 at approximately 1:01 PM. This response came after a 2007 Honda Odyssey, driven by Jermaine Dillon, 34, of Manhattan, collided with Stephen Clark, 14, and Sade Clark, 10, who are also both from Manhattan and who were riding a bicycle in tandem. The collision occurred while Dillon was attempting to enter the roadway from a nearby alley. Both Stephen Clark and Sade Clark were transported to Via Christi Hospital in Manhattan with apparent minor injuries. There were no citations issued at the time of this accident and it remains under investigation.
