MCA NashvilleAs his career took off thanks to hits like “House Party” and “Take Your Time,” Sam Hunt quickly went from playing small clubs, to entertaining thousands of fans in amphitheaters and arenas on Lady Antebellum‘s Wheels Up tour this past year.
Looking back on that adjustment period, Sam says, “There’s sort of a different art to it when you’re in an amphitheater with 15 or 20 thousand different people. “
Instead of freaking out about the task, Sam looked to Lady A and their tour mate, Hunter Hayes, for tips on how to keep a large audience’s attention.
Sam says, “It was just a combination of the experience of doing it, and the experience of observing professionals doing it every night that I think helped me develop into a better artist than I was before I went on tour with these guys.”
Look for Sam to play several stadiums dates with Kenny Chesney in 2016. He’s playing select shows throughout the end of the year.
