ABC/Fred LeeJust as his current single “Nobody to Blame” threatens to break into the top 10, Chris Stapleton is putting out a new video for another track from his award-winning Traveller album. The treatment for “Fire Away” could well be the most dramatic country music video since Garth Brooks put out “The Thunder Rolls” in 1991.

While Garth’s video dealt with domestic violence, Chris focuses on mental health. He plays a bartender in “Fire Away,” as the story unfolds of a couple who grapples with mental health issues. Actress Margarita Levieva, perhaps best known for her role on the ABC show Revenge, plays a woman who ultimately succeeds after multiple suicide attempts. The clip closes by pointing viewers to The Campaign to Change Direction, which works to educate the public about the signs of emotional suffering.
