ABC/Image Group LAJust as he returns to the U.S. after selling out his first headlining tour of Europe, Thomas Rhett is responding to demand stateside by adding more shows to his 2017 Home Team trek. After his initial date at Nashville’s Ascend Amphitheater sold out instantly, the “Star of the Show” hitmaker is now planning a second stop on April 20.

“I grew up seeing my favorite bands and a lot of my heroes play here,” he says of Music City. “So, to headline my first Nashville tour stop with not one, but two nights is pretty wild. I know having so many fans, friends and family there is going to make it a really special couple nights.”

Tickets for the new Nashville date go on sale December 9, with the trek set to kick off February 23 in Saginaw, Michigan. Kelsea Ballerini and newcomers Russell Dickerson and Ryan Hurd will open.
