It’s because Atticus Finch is the hero of “To Kill a Mockingbird”, and Harper Lee announced earlier this year that she was finally putting out a sequel.
But there’s one big problem. When the sequel came out this week, it turned out Atticus Finch wasn’t the good guy he seemed in “To Kill a Mockingbird”. The book’s called “Go Set a Watchman”, and Harper Lee made Atticus a big time RACIST. Oops.
