ABC/Image Group LA Luke Bryan cranks up his 2016 Kill the Lights shows with Little Big Town and Dustin Lynch on Thursday night. The CMA and ACM Entertainer of the Year admits after all these years of hitting the road, he feels like he’s at the top of his game.

“I’m having more fun than I’ve ever had touring because I feel like I’ve learned when I’m getting tired, to go get in the bed and get back. I’ve learned everything I need to know really about my voice. I think truly, I just really enjoy it more than ever,” he says.

One of the big life lessons Luke has taken to heart is to not be so hard on himself when he’s maintaining such a rigorous schedule.

“I’ve learned when I come home off the road, it’s gonna take me about a day and a half or two days to like not be the Luke Bryan that’s out on the road — to be Dad and the husband,” he confesses. “And then when I get back out on the road, then it’s gonna take me a day or two to get back to bein’ what fans see.”

Once Luke, LBT and Dustin do their first show in Evansville, Indiana, they won’t stop until they play Ford Field in Detroit, Michigan on October 29.

Dustin, who’s been out with both of his tour partners before, says he’s looking forward to hanging out with Little Big Town’s kids when they have some downtime, and he’s still holding out hope that Luke will someday cut a song with him. Luke and LBT’s Karen Fairchild recently went to number one with “Home Alone Tonight.”
