A Manhattan man was arrested early Friday morning on charges of aggravated domestic battery and criminal damage to property, according to the Riley County Police Department.
Officers filed a report Sept. 26 around 3:32 a.m. after a 29-year-old woman was listed as the victim and a 26-year-old man was identified as the suspect.
William Avila, 26, of Manhattan, was taken into custody about an hour later at 4:34 a.m. on the listed charges. He was booked into the Riley County Jail and issued no bond. Avila remains confined at the time of this report.
