A Louisiana man was arrested Wednesday night following a reported domestic violence incident in Manhattan, according to the Riley County Police Department.

Officers filed a report just after 9 p.m. July 8, 2026, in Manhattan for aggravated domestic battery, criminal damage to property, criminal restraint and domestic battery.

A 36-year-old woman was listed as the victim. A known 35-year-old man was identified as the suspect.

Yances Baldizon, 35, of Gretna, Louisiana, was arrested just before 10 p.m. on charges of aggravated domestic battery, criminal damage to property, criminal restraint and domestic battery.

Baldizon was issued a total bond of $11,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
