A Manhattan woman was arrested Thursday evening after police say she violated court-issued protection orders and interfered with law enforcement.

According to the Riley County Police Department, Niomi Beth Nickel, 36, was arrested around 9:15 p.m. in the 1100 block of Moro Street.

Nickel is accused of two counts of violating Riley County District Court protection orders. During the incident, officers also arrested her on suspicion of interference with a law enforcement officer.

Nickel was booked into the Riley County Law Enforcement Center on a total bond of $6,750 and remained confined at the time of the report.
