A Manhattan man was arrested early Wednesday morning following a reported aggravated assault, according to the Riley County Police Department.
Officers filed a report at approximately 11:36 p.m. March 18, 2026, in the 2100 block of Green Avenue. A 21-year-old woman was listed as the victim, and a known 67-year-old man was identified as the suspect.
Richard Martin, 67, of Manhattan, was arrested at approximately 1:44 a.m. March 19 on a charge of aggravated assault.
Martin was issued a total bond of $5,000 and remains confined in the Riley County Jail at the time of this report.
